The Genotype Diet

What Diet? - The Genotype Diet
Created by American Dr. Peter D’adamo in 1998, following closely scrutinised research of his patients in his own medical practice, and more than 30 years of his fathers’ research in his, whereby they both found that certain diseases (eg. Heart Disease, ulcers, digestive disorders, cancers and arthritis) were more prevalent in certain blood types than others. The diet pinpoints specific foods to increase, or avoid in the diet, according to which Blood Type an individual belongs to – Type O, Type A, Type AB or Type B. 20 years on, Dr. D’adamo has built an incredible following of converts who maintain that this approach has literally ‘changed their lives’, and now looks in greater detail at not only dietary approaches but also lifestyle and exercise to suit the different types, as well as Nutritional supplementation based on his findings of specific nutrient deficiencies that seem to occur across the four blood types
