This is a 7-day diet that is designed to increase your metabolism . According to the Metabolism Diet, if you eat certain foods in certain quantities at certain times, you should be able to boost your metabolism and lose weight. People on the diet should drink about 4 glasses of water per day. You can also add herbs, salt, pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, mustard and ketchup to any of the foods you eat while on the Metabolism Diet. The Metabolism Diet, like many fad diets, doesn't provide dieters with enough calories to get through the day. Dieters should refrain from working out and/or participating in extreme activities while on this diet. Also, there aren't many vitamins or nutrients included, which can lead to health complications for people who continue the diet for longer periods of time.
