The Best of Life Diet was created by an exercise physiologist, Bob Greene, and has been made famous by Oprah Winfrey. The diet starts by identifying personal barriers are to keeping up with an exercise and nutritional program and overcoming them. Followers of this diet are required to re-examine decisions on a daily basis in order to gradually alter habits to achieve lasting results. Bob also lists six types of foods in his Best Life Diet to stay away from: Soda, trans fats, fried food, white bread, regular pasta, and high fat dairy products.
